As Operations Assistant, I am responsible for the distribution of new books to authors, contributors, editors and reviewers. I create letters and package more than 1500 books per semester. My position requires me to communicate with every department in the Press to ensure that the office can run as efficiently as possible. I maintain incoming and outgoing mail logs, create permanent files for each book that we publish and take inventory of more than 400 on-site books monthly. As Marketing Assistant, I help our Marketing & Sales Manager log reviews of our books on our website as well as our database, AllBooks. I assist in sending advanced reading copies to endorsers, magazines and reviewers to gain publicity for our titles.
