My goal is to combine the strategic side of marketing with the creative side of graphic design in my career.I am currently a graphic design intern for Maryland Athletics. I work specifically with the Women's Volleyball Team. This internship has given me so much experience in the graphic design field. I have had the privilege of creating many graphics for the team to use across their social media, send to new recruits and I am currently working on a semester long postcard assignment for them to send to potential recruits. I have also gained so many skills in Adobe Photoshop. I have also been able to gain experience in a graphic design setting that is feedback based with the client. I have not only learned a lot from this internship but I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience that I have had.Previously, this past fall I completed a campaign with the organization Re:act. This company is an Australian based company that coordinated with the graphic design program at The University of Maryland for their first ever campaign in The United States. This program took place during the semester for the whole program of 18 of us. At the end, of the campaign the partners selected one campaign to go live in the MD/DC area on billboards. I am very fortunate that my campaign was selected and I got to continue working with Re:act through winter break to make any necessary changes that the partners wanted, created a landing page for the campaign and create a design report. I also worked with a representative at Clear Channel to coordinate the billboards and filmed an interview in front of the campaign. This experience was very unique and something I am so grateful that I got to be a part of.Some other hobbies and interests that I take part in during my free time are photography, calligraphy, competitive dance and travel. Photography and calligraphy have always been a creative outlet for me. Competitive dance is something that I have been passionate since I can remember. I was a competitive dancer for 16 years and unfortunately had to put the passion on hold during my college career but I have every intention to pick it back up after graduation. Travel is another passion of mine. I absolutely love seeing new places, cultures and trying new things.I have extensive experience in several social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Snapchat. I also have extensive experience in the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and AfterEffects. I also have experience in Microsoft and Google Systems.
