Hi! I’m Madison Governale, an entrepreneur and student at Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business. I launched my business, Wave Creations, LLC, in 2020 as a sophomore in high school, alongside my younger sister, Paige. Together, we’ve grown our brand internationally through social media, creating our own content, and using creative strategies and analytics. Self-taught in digital marketing, we built a following of over 200,000 across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, reaching millions of impressions across the globe daily. By staying ahead of online trends, I continually experiment with new ideas to inspire other young entrepreneurs as we expand our brand both online and in stores. In 2024, Paige and I competed in two pitch competitions, winning both. We were thrilled to take the top prize of $12,500 at the Fairfield University Startup Showcase, where we pitched to an audience of around 1,000+ people in the Spring. This achievement has been key in our small business growth, funding our preparations for our first trade show in Orlando 2025.Currently, alongside managing my business, I'm also interning during the semester with Fairfield’s Digital Media team. Working with a team of six, I pitch ideas weekly to maintain cohesive University branding on our social pages, creating content, and improving our social engagement.I am actively seeking a Marketing and Management internship for Summer 2025, where I hope to gain new perspectives and broaden my business experience in a different company setting.
