Throughout my time at the University of Iowa, I've studied history and English, which has provided me with excellent research and writing skills. I've used these skills through my work as a research assistant to Dr. Ashley Howard, researching corporations to find how they would work with FINCA International during my internship with them and in my journalistic work at Daily Iowan TV. At Daily Iowan TV, I've worked extensively within our control booth, working the graphics computer, audio board, switchboard, and directing, ultimately becoming the tech director and leading my tech staff. Additionally, I've worked at EBSCO Information Services as an Editorial Intern, primarily screening article drafts and preparing content to appear on products. These experiences have prepared me for jobs I'm seeking in journalism or publishing as I plan to pursue being a newscast director or a content editor long-term.
