-Assist the Principle Investigator with observational data collection, scheduling and coordinating research interviews, and conducting research interviews in person and over Zoom.-Manage the recruitment process for the team that includes phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, extending offer letters, and working closely with HR to ensure compliance with University onboarding requirements.-Onboard and conduct trainings on Nvivo, Box, Web Clock, as well as the project management tool Asana for four Research Assistants (RAs) and one part time Research Technician.-Perform data management and data analysis utilizing Nvivo and Stata to illuminate emerging themes pertaining to improving job quality for frontline employees and Covid-19 outcomes. -Coordinate and manage the analysis process using Asana to align activities to meet grant deliverables, manage the workload of four Research Assistants (RAs), and ensure compliance with University regulations and grant requirements.-Participate in biweekly meetings with external funders to provide updates on project progress, data analysis progress, record meeting minutes, and present quarterly findings to both funders and organizations in the study via Zoom.-Assess, monitor, and evaluate the quality of the four Research Assistant’s analysis through regular audits and provide feedback during weekly check in meetings designed to resolve issues as necessary.

This information was used in a presentation detailing the opioid epidemic and mental health disparities in St. Louis to a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives- Participate in grant writing initiatives through conducting background research pertaining to the opioid epidemic in St. Louis, mental health disparities, and how Affinia Healthcare works to alleviate barriers to quality healthcare for the uninsured or under-insured population through the MAT program and behavioral health services -Create a pathway for internal patient referrals to MAT services that increased the number of internal referrals by 10%-Educate staff in quality improvement concepts through working with health care team members to design and implement data collection methodologies, databases, action plans, and reporting strategies during monthly meetings-Redevelop and maintain a master list for the MAT program detailing patient data in Excel -Collect lead screening data by conducting face to face interviews with approximately 60 patients at four sites to determine the root cause of the increase in high lead values and patient attitudes toward lead screening. The ODRC Bureau of Research and Evaluation primarily conducts research pertaining to the prison system in an effort to modify and improve current conditions of incarcerated individuals. My two primary areas of research focused on, analysis of foster care’s correlation to future imprisonment, and determining the effectiveness of the substance abuse rehabilitation program for inmates. This substance abuse program is currently being implemented in 29 prisons throughout the state of Ohio. My involvement in these programs improved efficiencies especially in data collection. These efficiencies saved the researchers time and money as data analysis was streamlined for evaluation.
