I am a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at LaSalle University with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am on track to graduate in May of 2023. From living room dance performances to my 6th-grade room makeovers. Managing and planning these little projects was so exciting to me. These little self-started projects encouraged me to take charge in many aspects of my life going forward. As I matured, leading group discussions and projects have been something I have always excelled at and pushed me to look into management career options. Now with a better understanding of myself, I am drawn to the housing industry and becoming an advocate in ending the affordable housing crisis. Housing is a human right that everyone should have access to! From May of 2019 to December of 2020, I had the opportunity to work seasonally at Housing Management Resources, a property management company as an Assistant Property Management Intern. My experiences with the company taught me the technical skills needed in property management but also how to work with other people effectively. Teamwork and communication were essential activities throughout my day. Not only did I learn to communicate with colleagues but with residents as well. Effective communication can make a difficult situation much easier to navigate. In addition, I was able to learn how to manage multiple tasks in a high-stress environment. My natural intuition to lead and my learned interpersonal skills have drawn me to leadership. In this field, I can cultivate and continue to grow my management, interpersonal, and leadership skills while making a difference. I believe a good leader can lead any team to success! I am eager to get to work!
