As a member of Wawa’s Energy and Utilities team, I worked on various projects throughout the summer, including solar energy research for construction costs, rates and requirements for implementation. I also compiled Wawa’s 2023 Green Energy Report, detailing department greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This project supported efforts to present GHG emission data to corporate operations and management. For locations in Florida, I reviewed the performance of store prototypes, to determine the most sustainable and efficient design. Furthermore, I assisted in calculating the utilities budget, including water, electric and gas usage for current fiscal year, to support budgeting programs for the 2024 fiscal year.

I conducted rescue water and medical operations within the Sea Isle City Beach Patrol. I am trained in First Aid and CPR to allow for the safest bathing environment. I am able to communicate with headquarters regarding any concern of any beach patron or my own. I oversee an entire beach and less experienced guards.
