About Madison Harris

I am currently a senior at Indiana University Bloomington where I am pursing both a B.A. in International Law and Institutions and a B.S.P.A. in Policy Analysis with a language concentration in Spanish.I have just completed volunteering as a policy researcher for the University of Oxford's COVID-19 Government Response Tracker where I researched, coded, and reviewed government policies into 23 indicators to reflect the extent of government action alongside a global team. I also have extensive experience in legislative advocacy and data analysis through my internship with VOICES Corp.I am a motivated, passionate leader who is hard-working and community focused. I have broad leadership experience from speech and debate team captain to vice president of Hoosiers for Choice to press secretary of IU Student Government. I have collaborated with Indiana state representatives to author legislation on youth mental health issues and advocated for sexual violence prevention at the local, state, and federal government level. I will graduate in May 2025 and plan to pursue a career in foreign policy, policy research, or data analysis near the east coast area or abroad. I am excited to pursue a position in which I can meaningfully contribute to my community and advocate for human rights both internationally and at home. In the meantime, I continue to acquire new skills and build an extensive professional network. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to connect, or are aware of any potential opportunities for which I may be well suited.
