I primarily handle workers' compensation claims and general liability matters from the date of the incident through resolution or final appeal. My experience includes representing employers, carriers, and third-party administrators in workers' compensation claims and subrogation claims; owners, sureties, contractors, and subcontractors in construction disputes; employers, auto insurance companies, motor carriers, and owner-operators in automobile accident litigation; retailers, landowners, landlords and tenants in premises liability lawsuits and contract issues; physicians, hospitals and long-term care facilities in medical malpractice lawsuits; and municipalities in tort and civil rights lawsuits.I am admitted to the bar in Mississippi (all state and federal courts), North Carolina (all state and federal courts), and Tennessee (all state courts). I am also admitted to the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Circuits. I am a fifth-generation graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law where I received my juris doctor magna cum laude. Before law school, I graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology.
