I established and lead a program focused on increasing employment opportunities for people with autism, implementing inclusive hiring initiatives, internship programs, support systems and organization-wide training for all employees. I manage a funding program that provides resources to non-profit employers for building the infrastructure and training to launch internship programs for autistic candidates.

I was recruited to build and manage all aspects of the foundation’s financial, human resources, operations, information technology, and facilities management functions, and was appointed by the Board of Trustees as Corporate Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief Compliance Officer.Accomplishments include:• Working closely with the founders to grow the organization from a start-up to over 150 employees, with assets of $2.7 billion, and an annual budget of $390 million.• Establishing and maintaining the financial policies, processes, and internal controls, as well as ensuring legal and reguatory compliance. • Partnering with scientific leadership to launch a new multidisciplinary in-house research institute, the Flatiron Institute. Created a finance and administrative structure that facilitated the recruitment and staffing of this new organization.Creating two affiliate organizations; Foundation Associates and Clinical Research Associates, each focused on autism research. I was appointed the Treasurer and created the financial, administrative, governance, and operational structures. • Built the Human Resources department and directed the development and implementation of foundation wide policies and programs.
