25 years experience as Chairman and CEO in Last-mile distribution and Digital platforms.Broad and deep experience as chairman and CEO for more than 10 companies in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden over the years, has both broadened and sharpened my competencies. My roots are in distribution and people management and they have been sophisticated by managing and developing both printed media and digitalized platforms. We have been working closely with labor unions, politicians, and trade associations building ESG but also fighting for fair conditions legally and otherwise. Additionally, working with large demanding customers, investor relations, lobbying and fighting in the courts in both Denmark and the EU has taught me a lot about when to step up and when not to.My competencies and experience are getting to work as a board member and a trusted advisor in creating a profitable position in the last mile market. It's a great opportunity. The market is a little immature and in some aspect on the edge of society, but that will change in the next 3-5 years. The potential is huge. A lot of revenue from today's retail, in the future, will be delivered through last-mile companies instead of picking it up at shops. We are just at the beginning but creating a lot of attention!We have been building digitalized logistic platforms, handling huge volumes in staff intense organizations (12.000 PTE) in a very competitive industry for 25 years and it is the core of my competencies. Today FK’s last-mile operation has the most advanced and digitalized platform for unaddressed mail in the world.The Team is everything….just everything and the infrastructure on which we build and execute our business is the foundation for profitability and growth. Engaging and inspiring organizations is a habit. We have turned businesses and companies around and found new ways through innovation and hard work, coping with intense competition from huge competitors.We have been fighting in the marketplace through innovation, m&a, and just being more cost-efficient. But also in the courts and parliament when necessary. A strong personal drive and being eager and impatient have resulted in amazing financial results benefitting the shareholders and I really thrive on it.
