Through my education at the University of Michigan, I have gained familiarity with many diverse topics in the history of art and visual culture, with my primary focus being French Modernism. Through my coursework, I have acquired a variety of skills, including exhibition design and object descriptions, research, and academic writing. I completed my senior honors thesis titled Image as Festival: The Emotional and Political Function of Visual Culture During the Paris Commune.I have always been very passionate about art history, and visiting art museums has always been a favored pastime of mine. I would love the opportunity to work in an art museum setting and utilize my education in the field that I love so much.Through my work experience, I have developed a wide variety of strong skills. I have lots of experience developing and implementing events, as well as thoughtful and kind collaboration with others. I have excellent time management and multitasking skills, allowing me to complete my work efficiently. I also have strong computer literacy skills, with proficiency in various computer programs such as Microsoft Office and EPIC. I have worked in several positions requiring excellent customer service, and I am able to provide kind, friendly, understanding, and accommodating service.
