Organising Committee Member Of Egpd 2023
Member of the Organising Committee of the European Geothermal PhD Days (EGPD) 2023. Together with 6 other PhD Students of the Universities of Strathclyde, Glasgow and Edinburgh, we organised the 14th EGPD in Glasgow from the 4th to 6th of April, 2023. The EGPD is an annual event organised by PhD students from different universities all around Europe. Now in its 14th instalment, it was started in 2010 as an initiative of the EERA joint program on geothermal energy. Every year, between 50 and 80 (more than 60 in 2023) young scientists from various research fields in geothermal energy come together to share knowledge and experience about this promising energy source. The first 2 days of the conference included poster and presentation sessions from PhD students and keynote speakers. The last day comprised a field trip to the UKGEOS Glasgow Observatory and a workshop.
