Today, The Collaborative’s multi-sided platform provides access to a robust network and trusted framework for interdisciplinary innovation and discovery by linking together academia, industry, government agencies, philanthropic organizations, NGOs, and individuals across the state and beyond. Since 2013, The Collaborative has worked with over 700 scholars across all 11 colleges and universities in Rhode Island on more than 50 research projects and community initiatives to catalyze innovation in areas such as arts and culture, education, energy, engineering, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, regional competitiveness, and workforce.

A quasi-public agency, the Corporation serves as a government and community resource to help streamline the business expansion in, and relocation to, Rhode Island. A hub for American students studying abroad, military personnel stationed nearby, and fashion forward Europeans, "Downtown New York" was a small boutique on Calle Perez Galdos in Seville, Spain. Owned by three American ex-pats, the boutique offered a fun place to gather and shop for custom silver jewelry, trendy fashions, and the hottest accessories from New York City. As leaders in bringing sterilization standards to Spain, "Downtown New York" also offered the safest place to go for professional tattoos and body piercing.

These sports include skateboarding, BMX, inline skating and snowboarding, as well as a number of variations on each and many other events. The X Games were created by cable sports network ESPN in 1995 in response to the growing popularity of these extreme sports.
