As Manager, Philanthropic Impact, I work alongside Community Hub staff and leadership to build and maintain relationships with members, donors, and prospects who are instrumental in funding our mission, locally and across the YMCA Metro Chicago enterprise. I implement an annual development plan, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for gift ranging from $1,000 to $10,000+. I also work with volunteer leaders to plan and execute community engagement events, fundraiser events, and solicitation and drive change in the communities.

At United Way, we bring people together to solve problems. United Way funds agencies that, working together can address the nuances of complex problems like homelessness or the academic achievement gap. We create programs and initiatives to fill unmet needs. We deploy volunteers and socially responsible companies as the engines of change and the feet on the street, delivering hope to people in need. We raise funding through generous donors who understand that social change can’t happen without it.As the coordinator of corporate relations, I support the Corporate Fundraising team through the preparation of reports and correspondence for internal and external purposes. I provide database maintenance, telephone support, meeting coordination, pledge processing, manage electronic communication to staff, donors and volunteers. I also provide support to various organizational initiatives, some general department functions, and other projects and events.
