I love working with people and helping them bring their visions to life. Right now I work in a bridal shop which lets me work with brides hands-on and work to give them their dream dress within the confines of our shop and their budget. It has also helped me hone in on the important skill of making people happy-cry.I have always been a people person, so I tend to gravitate toward jobs that allow me to work face-to-face with customers. I’ve previously worked in the restaurant industry and at a tutor center, both of which have taught me valuable lessons of patience, creative problem-solving, and adaptability.I’m also currently studying communications at the University of Colorado Boulder and it has helped me to develop my understanding of communication styles and effective communication strategies. Since coming to CU, I’ve seeked out leadership roles in the groups I am a part of, like Annex, a campus ministry for Boulder students.Currently, I am looking for an internship that will allow me to use my charisma and leadership skills, and I have a particular interest in pursuing a career in event planning.
