I have 5 years experience in Library Services and Specialist/Archival Libraries. I currently work in the public library sphere. My goal is to be an academic librarian, either working with specialist collections or as a faculty liaison. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Hons First Class) in Studies in Religion and Writing (University of Queensland) and a Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies (Curtin University).My passion for customer service is integral to how I work, which has been cultivated by over fifteen years in customer service positions prior to becoming a librarian. I consistently aim to provide and support the best research assistance to all patrons in an inclusive, professional, and compassionate manner. I particularly aspire to support students in their quest for knowledge, in addition to instilling a love for reading and academia. I hold a University of Queensland Medal for my tertiary achievements. Additionally, in 2018 I was accepted into Heidelberg University's Lived Sanskrit program that took place in Varanasi, India. It was an intensive Sanskrit course, including spoken Sanskrit lessons alongside other classes and research opportunities. It was an invaluable experience that pushed my love of languages to new heights.
