I was responsible for project coordination, volunteer management, and community engagement for Good and Ready Auckland project. This project aims to build up a resilient community in the Auckland region by delivering emergency readiness training and workshops for our volunteers and community members.

- Handled the inquiries from journalists- Drafted communications materials for public fundraising for humanitarian crisis across social media platforms- Wrote up human-touched stories across Jordan, Tanzania, The Philippines after the trips, where Oxfam is responding, for donors, media, social media, and public education purposesKey accomplishments- Organised a joint public appeals campaign ‘A Meal for Meals’ on East Africa food crisis that collaborating with Hong Kong Red Cross, Plan International and Save the Children to raise public awareness- Pitched over 100 pieces of media stories to build up a positive image for Oxfam

- Collaborated an advocacy campaign ‘Foresee Hong Kong’ with two media outlets and over thirty local community groups- Developed the lobbying agenda items with a group of academics from Social Science in Hong Kong with providing secretariat support- Coordinated a series of advocacy work with a team of five to engage the members of the public to voice out their needs to the candidates of Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative RegionKey accomplishments- Generated news reports across eight local newspapers, three TV channels and three radio channels- Collected over 3,000 petitions from four stalls in different districts in Hong Kong

- Planned and implemented events for a 5-day international conference with over 2,000 participants, “2010 Joint World Conference on Social Work and Social Development” in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre;- Prepared the financial report and post-event report to the funders and international programme committee of the captioned conference;- Assisted in preparing minutes, progress report, agenda and documents for programme committee and sub-committee groups;- Assisted managers in drafting promotion materials and identifying promotion channels;- Worked with service suppliers to deliver programmes of Luncheon, Cultural Night and post-event tour;- Liaised with sponsors and conference funders.

- Implemented programmes on communication for underprivileged youths and parents in Singapore to solve family issues.- Assisted in the 3-day wild camp "I Believe" for the youth-at-risk on an outlying island in Singapore twice.- Reallocated all collected food rations, and help distribute to the deprived families in Singapore.- Outreached the single elders by home visit.- Organised After lunch programmes for the children after their homework time at the children care centre.
