Aviatra Accelerators is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010. Our statewide organization enables women to start and sustain businesses by giving them the resources they need to be successful. Support the organization’s talent program through design and delivery of activities in the following three pillars: Learning & Development, Leadership Development and Performance Management.Monitor employee engagement levels through qualitative and quantitative data and consult departments on best practices and action planning.Development and implementation of global corporate onboarding/induction and consult organizational leaders on best practices to include in divisional onboarding activities.Development, implementation and measurement of Global Employee Communication Strategy for the US, UK and Asia Pacific.Manage content creation for a variety of internal communication channels such as an online employee community using the Jive social platform, digital newsletter, localized digital media panels, company briefings, and a variety of executive communications including blogs, videos, presentations and emails. Support internal brand alignment through employee education and reward/recognition schemes.Support the company’s CSR efforts through communication of global charity fundraising events and activities.

Department mission is to ensure that the 260 employees throughout the organization are equipped with the tools and resources they need to be successful. Direct management responsibility of the Strategic Planning, Employee Development, IT, and Safety functions.Key focus areas include strategic planning, leadership and supervisory development, competency modeling, continuous improvement, performance management, and organizational alignment and structure.

Manage organization-wide regulatory programs and activities and report status updates to the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Kentucky Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet.Developed and implemented SD1's first in-house strategic planning program. Led seven operating departments and high-level leadership team in the utilization of strategic planning tools and processes.
