It is my mission as a life coach to support and empower women with tools to create more fulfilling experiences along their path. When you master the art of self-care in daily living, and learn how to effectively manage stress, there is more room in your life for peaceful productive thinking, and action.

Teach P.E. and science classes to elementary age children. Supervises one aide who assists in classroom management and activity prep. Created classroom curriculum and manages supplies to run the courses throughout the four-week period. Classroom size generally runs about 20-24 children and includes children with disabilities. Experience with differentiated instruction provides me the skills to develop strategies to help individual students while running the classroom as a whole.

Assisted the teacher in running the Special Day Class (SDC) 3rd to 5th grade. Trained by district to work with all students in the classroom in areas of academics and social-behavioral situations. Provided support to assigned students throughout academic year and applied individualized educational (IEP) goals during school hours. Aided teacher with various projects and tasks in the classroom i.e. creating visual aids for students to reference when working on class assignments. Facilitated social experiences that occurred in SDC and the mainstream classrooms. Observed and reported any progress made in the mainstream classrooms, and provided input on implementing systems to help student(s) with any challenges that occurred.

Created schedule with parents to work in the home setting during the school week. Assisted students with mainstream homework, and modified teaching style according to the students’ needs i.e. a visual learner would be provided with more visual cues to aid in studies. Provided mediation between the family and students’ teachers regarding homework modifications and IEP goals. Successfully advocated for modifications and accommodations in compliance with students’ IEPs in the mainstream classroom setting. Provided supplemental materials to build students’ skills in challenging areas. Provided advice and planning for long-term projects and executed with the support of the parents and teachers.Left position when students reached high school as they no longer needed assistance with their homework, and had developed enough study skills to complete assignments/projects on their own.
