About Maggie Hodges

I graduated in 2020 from the University of North Texas with a BA in English/Creative Writing and a minor in marketing. After graduating, I worked as a grant development intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters in Irving, Texas, where I learned how to drive my creative writing talents into writing proposals. I was also able to work on my research skills. In April 2020, I enrolled at SMU Online. Three months later, I received a Technical Writing Certificate. Now, I am a Graduate Student at UNT pursuing a Master's in Library Science with a concentration in Archival Studies. I will graduate in May 2023. I am a diligent, hard-working, and creative individual with research and writing experience in several genres, including research papers, proposals, non-fiction, and creative short stories. I also have experience with EAD Archival description, have created finding aids using DACs, and created XML metadata using several schemas like MODS. I am seeking a position as an Archivist. Here is a link to my professional portfolio: https://eportfoliomh.foliotek.me/
