Currently teach 5th grade in San Carlos, CA. Participate with multiple teams in order to collaborate, plan, and utilize resources that best fit the needs of our staff, students, and district. Plan scope/sequence of school year using numerous curriculums as well as supplemental with self-created common core materials. Developed and instructed multiple PBLs (Project Based Learning) throughout the year. Analyze multiple forms of data to guide instruction, raise test scores, and meet individual student’s wide-ranging needs.

Collaborated with Silicon Valley Education Foundation and Stanford Redbird to improved the utilization of technology in our district by providing students with innovative Personalized Learning instruction. Contributed feedback on Edtech products in the classroom.

Taught multiple grade levels from K-5 in a variety of neighborhoods throughout Chicago. Maintained excellent classroom and behavior management skills in extreme situations. Utilized many types assessments to gain data in order drive differentiated instruction using varied instructional strategies. Practiced flexible grouping of student-centered pedagogy to meet students’ diverse needs.
