- Develop and strengthen relationships with diverse community organizations, including, but not limited to colleges and universities, running groups, women’s groups, and other stakeholders to ensure a sense of belonging and broaden representative coach and volunteer involvement with Girls on the Run- Cultivate community partnerships to grow our network of contacts for seasonal programs and fundraising events- Develop and implement a plan for data collection, analysis, and reporting for projects related to community engagement- Recruit and manage the SoleMates team and peer-to-peer fundraising program- Develop and implement an annual plan that includes social media, website maintenance, monthly newsletters and other communications and aims to both steward existing audiences and engage new and diverse audiences- Communicate program impact, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and more using relevant and branded content via social media and email marketing- Create innovative engagement strategies utilizing volunteers and board members to connect with Girls on the Run’s target audiences- Commit to using the opportunities of this position to make Girls on the Run a more inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible organization

- Assists athletes with the products and services they need in order to perform at the highest caliber in their sports- Aid my fellow teammates in the projects our team embarks on- Create a positive and upbeat environment that reflects our mission statement of helping our athletes achieve their dreams

- Develop materials to encourage citizen participation and solicit that participation through social media, events, and individual interviews- Participate in community engagement events - Perform data research and analysis of neighborhood demographics to identify above average concentrations of various populations and characteristics where there may be disproportionate needs- Represent the Community Development office on various workgroups and committees- Investigate different jurisdictions’ affordable housing policies and approaches and make recommendations for incorporating or adjusting those used in the community development office- Provide referrals to various services within the CD network of partners for inquiries from residents and businesses

- Create content and posts for The Empowerment Factory’s social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter- Copywriting- Copyediting- Provide compelling and original on-brand content geared at specific social media outlets- Communication and outreach on social media with potential funders and program partners- Assist in planning, writing and managing monthly Newsletter

- Guided members on where to park their cars- Provided cleaning services to the bathhouse decks, changing rooms, and bathrooms- Communicated directions to different places/beaches nearby
