MARIA JOSE MARCOS is the CEO at Magicarch Architecture Office. During her career she has received several awards such as the selection for the III Biennale of Spanish Architecture in 2008, She was shortlisted at ONE PRIZE in New York in 2011 and ONE PRIZE New York 2014, the 1st prize in the IV Architecture Competition SCHINDLER, the Education Award for Young Entrepreneurs of the Valencia Government.As professor she currently teaches Architectural Design at Soongsil University in Seoul. Previously she was visiting teacher at AA School of Architecture in London in 2012 and 2014, lecturer at Iñaki Ábalos Unit at ETSAM Madrid in 2011, visiting teacher at UIC-ESARQ International University of Catalonia in Barcelona in 2011 and Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture of the University of Alicante from 2008 to 2011Her projects has been exhibit in several international exhibition such as the exhibition '100 architects of the year'​ for the KIA Korean Institute of Architects in Seoul (2012), III International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam 2006 and the VIII Venice Architecture Biennale 2002 and the Korean Institute of Youth Facilities and Environment in South Korea 2012, the Contemporary Art Centre La Conservera in Spain 2012, XIII Venice Architecture Biennale 2012, International Festival of Sustainable Actions SOS4.8 in Spain 2012-11, Official Architects Association of Murcia 2012-11, Official Architects Association of Alicante Spain 2012 . She wrote more than 300 texts at magazines such as ‘DOMUS’, ‘Neo2’ ‘A10 New European Architecture’, ‘Abitare’ and 'Mark' magazines or ‘edgargonzalez.com’ blog. Master in Architecture by the University of Alicante with Honors Cum Laude in her final project, and a Master in Advanced Architecture Design by Polytechnic University of Madrid [ETSAM].
