To analyse the institutional framework and decision-making processes for the development of public policies in sustainable agriculture. Research-action activities conducted for the IIABA Project financed by the Agence française de Développement (AFD). Three countries of implementation : Morocco, Tanzania and Uganda.

The Accra Plastics Management Pilot (APMP) took place between February 2019 and January 2020 (twelve months). It was a successful pilot project funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) with the main objective of tackling plastic pollution in Accra, Ghana.I was the Project Coordinator during the entire implementation of the APMP and was full-time based in Accra. I was responsible for the good coordination on the ground, the mobilisation of international experts and local consultants, the development of our network in Ghana, the writing and submission of reports in due time (incl. quarterly reports and final report), quality control before submission and the organisation of events (workshops, presentations, etc.). I was the main contact point between the Seureca team based in Paris and the beneficiary of the projet (the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation). I worked on: - The development of a Baseline Study (interviews, collect of information, field visits, plastic pollution study, data analysis, stakeholders mapping, review of the legal and regulatory framework, overview of the plastic sector and recycling situation per type of polymer, etc.)- The production of a strategic roadmap (types of polymers: challenges and opportunities, definition of recommendations, plan for implementation of the recommended actions, stakeholders engagement, etc.)- The definition of an Investment Plan (for some key recommended actions: definition of targets, assumptions, calculation of cost estimates)- The documentation of best practices and lessons learnt (lessons learnt during the project, analysis of experiences from abroad and recommendations).

Seureca is the Consulting Engineers subsidiary of Veolia, providing expert solutions for utilities, public organisations, and industries to efficiently manage their water, waste, and energy services.Within the local branch SEURECA PLC (Zambia) and specifically for the project Drainage and Municipal Waste Management Technical Assistance for Lusaka City Council, I was responsible for providing direct support to the Local Coordinator and the Head Office Project Manager in the implementation of the Technical Assistance activities.The technical assistance included activities on: Corporate Governance, Change Management, Institutional setup, Business Plan, Coordination, Management, Procurement and Supply Chain, IT, HR, Health and Safety, Environment, Operations and Maintenance, Communication and field work (visit of Landfill, interview of women working as recyclable collectors).

I organised a COP22 labelled event named "Climate Day in Rabat", that welcomed over 1,500 visitors during the day.Main missions:- Coordination work with 50 French and Moroccan NGOs and institutional partners of the French Embassy- Jury member of the competition “Moroccan Climate Initiatives": 6 projects were awarded during the event. At SAGI, I assisted the CEO who was developing a new business model for non-profit and for-profit organisations. The idea was to propose an alternative ("hybrid model") for business and NGOs: businesses were supported in their social activities and NGOs were advised on how to become financially sustainable. I advised NGOs on how to generate revenues from their activities and companies on Corporate Social Responsibility. I worked on the field, with local South African NGOs.Main missions:- Consulting in strategic philanthropy with donors, firms and NGOs- Field work with local NGOs, especially Ikamva Ubomi with whom I worked as an operational support on the development of a Resource Centre for vulnerable children and of an Internet Coffee Shop in a disadvantaged neighbourhood. As President of the Pro Bono Fund, I was responsible for all the activities of the Pro Bono Fund that was supporting actions in the education sector. Summer internship at the UNESCO within the Department for Research, Policy and Social Transformations, and more specifically at the Division of Social Transformations and Intercultural Dialogue. During my internship, I worked on environmental migrations in Western Africa and on the programme "MOST" (management of social transformations) in order to urge African States to take into account the results of research in social sciences in their policies and to maintain social cohesion.
