I have 3.5 years of international experience in Africa in managing projects for sustainable development and in designing public policies. In 2023, I started a PhD in Food Law at CIRAD on the Governance of control and traceability systems of geographical indications in Africa, comparative approach with Europe. My career goal is to become one of the experts of the United Nations on food-related topics.- I started my career for Veolia where I coordinated €1M to €3M projects in sustainable management of food waste funded by the DFID and the MCC, in Ghana and Zambia. I truly enjoyed managing projects and am proud to have contributed, in cooperation with the teams based in Paris, to the implementation of impactful actions. In Ghana, we brought together the shopping malls’ CEOs for negotiations that resulted in the ending of free plastic bags distribution in Accra. In Zambia, we supported the formulation process of a law for food waste management, which was passed by the Parliament. - Wishing to focus on agricultural and food topics, I complemented my education from Sciences Po Paris and joined the Institut Agro of Montpellier. - My Masters in Food Systems enabled me to do some consultancy for the CIRAD as a public policies analyst on an organic agriculture action-research project funded by the AFD. I studied the food policy, institutional, legal and regulatory frameworks of Tanzania and Uganda. These reports were shared with local organic partners and to the Ministries of Agriculture in order to inform the public policy processes.
