I work with an incredible team at UC San Diego and have broad responsibility for clinical and translational research program, and clinical research administrative core units. This includes supporting a $50+M NCATS Clinical & Translational Science Award (Principal Investigator and Director, Gary Firestein, MD), clinical research , and regulatory issues. I also work closely and collaboratively with the offices involving industry contracts, coverage analysis, research billing, and IRB office.I am actively involved in statewide, national, and international issues of research administration in capacity-building, ethics (e.g., research integrity, conflict of interest, and the responsible conduct of research), and IRB reliance efforts, harmonization, and best practice implementations. Chancellor's Integrity Award recipient 2018. Exceptional Work & Contributions Staff @ Work Survey 2018, 2020, 2021. Chancellors Diversity Champion award 2022. Assumed current role July 2020.

Appointed to the Department of Health & Human Services Secretary's Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP) to provide expert advice and recommendations on issues pertaining to the protection of human subjects in research.
