From June 2020 to November 2021, I successfully ran my physiotherapy clinic in India, which I set up in my own house. As the sole proprietor, I was responsible for all aspects of the clinic's operations, including advertising, purchasing of physiotherapy equipment, diagnosing and providing treatment to patients, managing schedules and finances.I noticed that my neighborhood had a large number of elderly residents and decided to focus on the instruments needed for the same. To promote my clinic, I used a variety of advertising methods, including Google Ads, posters in popular shopping areas around my clinic, and local newspaper ads.In addition, I joined a local hemophilia support group and provided a free consultation to the group. As my workload increased, I reached out to a nearby medical college and recruited two interns. I trained the interns on the job through shadowing and reverse shadowing sessions, which proved to be beneficial for our regular patients who needed ongoing treatment.Overall, running my clinic was a challenging and rewarding experience that allowed me to provide much-needed care to my community and develop valuable skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, and patient care."
