CurrentWrites reports and participates in the presentation of business plans and feasibility studies, fund-raising proposals, donor reports and Programme's annual report.Centrally reports to UNRWA on Programme activities for all its four fields (Currently: Gaza, West Bank, Jordan and Syria).Conducts interviews with clients to produce business profiles that highlight the economic development and impact of the programme on individual clients and their families to strengthen the programme outreach in its area of operations.Undertakes impact-assessment of the effect of the Programme on its clients and business community through the development of survey questionnaire and other research tools.Supervises, collates and processes questionnaire data to produce statistical information on the Programme in each field.Collects and maintains micro-economic, macro-economic and financial data for business sector analysis and market segmentation analysis in the Programme area of operations. Conducts research on the Programme in the four fields through compiling data, producing materials and drafting reports on economic and political situation in the area of operations.Trains and supervises Programme staff in data collection and enumeration techniques.Maintains contact with other UNRWA departments, concerned government organizations, academics, NGOs, and other public and UN organizations in the field of operations to collect reports and other material, and provide information relevant to the economic and business setting of the Programme.Monitors developments in the business, banking and micro-finance sector in the area of operations to advise the Director of Microfinance and other concerned managers about significant changes taking place.Translates documents and research into Arabic and English.
