Responsible for the approval of the design of infrastructure facilities for various Expressway and Local Road and Drainage Projects undertaken by the State of Qatar. In particular, this role involved ensuring that any proposed design fits within the parameters of various existing and planned infrastructure networks around the country as well as meeting the Master Plan Guidelines.Nominated by HE the Minister of Municipality and the Environment as a member of the Minister’s working committee for the resolution of flooding in Qatar. Also involved in preparing and managing various studies for the Ministry and setting up various guidelines and procedures for the streamlining of the approval process.

Responsible for the design supervision of sewerage, surface drainage and irrigation network for the Local Road and Drainage Projects Programme undertaken by the Public Works Authority in Qatar for the Doha South Area, an area of 27,800 hectares. This program comprises all design stages, from conceptual to tendering and design support during the construction.The program has a very aggressive schedule, to be completed within 5 years, with the added constraint of having to be executed in mostly built-up areas, with limited or non existent outfall facilities.

The project would have added 2ha to the principality and provided 10,000 luxury housing units, a new opera and a luxury marina.Project Coordinator for the design and construction of a hotel and sport complex in Minsk, Belarus (200 Millions US $ Investment) for a Qatari investor.

Responsibilities include client liaison, design, QAQC, project management, invoicing, staff management and reply to work proposals. Responsible for the preparation of a design and built contract documents for a 15,000 m3/d sewage treatment plant.

Design and construction supervision of sewage treatment facilities for various housing developments in Nigeria for up to 45,000 person. Part of the team for the Privatisation Studies for the Lagos State Water Corporation in collaboration with the IFC (World Bank). The LSWC serves a population of 15 million person.

Lagos, Nigeria

Construction Supervision and contract administration for three water treatment plants rehabilitation projects in Nigeria, with a total value of US $ 35 million for the Lagos State Water Corporation under funding from the World Bank. These projects consisted of the total rehabilitation of a raw water intake (installed capacity of 15,000 m3/h, working capacity of 9,500 m3/h), and the rehabilitation of two water treatment stations (one of 2,000 m3/h, and one of 13,500 m3/h).
