- Maintain up-to-date billing system. - Generate and send out invoices.- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.- Perform account reconciliations.- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.- Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports.- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.- Process credit card payments. - Prepare bank deposits.- Process adjustments.- Collect data and prepare monthly reports.- Interface with different levels of Firm management and staff to enhance revenue and mitigate write-offs.- Prepare statements and correspondence for partners and clients regarding the accounts receivable.- Ensure all cash postings are made on a timely basis and allocated correctly.- Resolving outstanding payments and sending collection statements.- Assist with month-end closing.- Participate in the year-end audit; compile and prepare supporting schedules, work papers, and financial reports as requested by auditors.- Assist in preparation of year end closings and accompanying financial reports.
