The Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE) aims to target the health equity issues faced by minorities and other groups of people who face health disparities. This organization is based out of Washington, DC and has branches throughout the states.●Conducted a community needs assessment, identifying key health gaps and consequently created targeted interventions that positively impacted over 150 community members.●Collaborated with team members to help plan for an annual conference, attracting more than 300 members. ●Researched and contacted three optimal vendor options, streamlining procurement processes which reduced costs by 12%. ●Spearheaded and crafted a monthly newsletter, effectively reaching 50+ community members, resulting in a 25% increase in awareness while also providing vital education on critical public health issues.

Worked with a fine Gastroenterologist to chart patient visits in a Princeton Care Facility. ●Proficiently pre-charted and updated patient records into EMRs, before each patient visit, resulting in a 10% reduction in charting time during patient visits. ●Meticulously documented comprehensive patient records, surpassing 1,200 patient charts encompassing patient histories, reasons for visit, and diagnosis leading to a 15% increase in accuracy and efficiency as well as expedited chart completion rates.●Ensured 100% compliance with HIPAA guidelines, strengthening company’s reputation.

I collaborated with two other classmates to help fulfill the wishlist for this organization so that the children and families can stay at Ronald McDonald's house while being at ease. These families can rest and recover during their treatments without having to worry about basic necessities such as warm meals and water. During this process, I took the responsibility to reach out to the director and get approval to start raising money and collecting items. The project was ongoing for 1 month by way of an Instagram post where we raised awareness and money, around $200 to buy the items.
