From a young age I was taught to appreciate the natural resources that surrounded me. Through exploring tidal pools and volunteering at an animal shelter, I learned the importance of conservation and protection of the natural lands and resources that cannot protect themselves. I show my love for the environment through my marine life focused paintings, where I focus on the struggle of pollution amidst the marine ecosystem. I strive to pass on the lesson and experiences I have had and help create a world that allows future generations to experience the same lessons that I have learned. Through my leadership roles as a team captain in my sophomore year of college on my rowing team, to a sailing/swimming and marine science instructor, these have taught me the importance and power of a team working together to achieve an end goal.Areas of Expertise-Time Management-Research Planning-Group communication-Group Strategies and Planning
