About Maike Ostmann

My passion for physics and innate problem solving skills were the driving force throughout my BSc and MSc research in the field of quantum optics. My perseverance and self motivation led to a successful PhD within the cutting edge field of Rydberg atom quantum simulators. I have worked within this field both independently and collaboratively, developing novel approaches via computational simulation and data analysis. My research culminated in lead authorship of 3 scientific papers published in esteemed academic journals.My range of communication skills stems from extensive experience in visualising and presenting complex data to diverse audiences at international conferences, summer schools, collaborative workshops, and seminars. Giving talks, presentations, and participating in poster sessions have proven extremely effective in conveying my ideas and research, especially to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
