At Bruker (then Core Diagnostics), I was a key team player responsible for comprehensive specimen processing and expression analysis, managing everything from sample preparation to client communication and product shipment coordination. My role involved:Performing extraction and purification of DNA, RNA, and miRNA from various tissue types, including frozen tissues, blood, and swabs, followed by nucleic acid quantification for downstream analysis.Conducting gene expression analysis from clinical trial samples using high-throughput platforms such as Fluidigm qRT-PCR and nanoString nCounter.Facilitating up to 45 pharmaceutical projects, aligning with project requirements and deadlines through effective communication with clients and internal teams.Maintaining revision control of critical documents, including QC methods, test reports, SOPs, and batch records, and providing these materials to the manufacturing team as needed.Preparing detailed reports and presentations for team review and decision-making.Developing procedures, managing multiple concurrent projects, and generating controlled documents like specifications and batch records.Utilizing expertise in nucleic acid purification, NGS, and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, gel electrophoresis, FISH, DNA sequencing) to ensure high-quality results.Analyzing complex data sets and troubleshooting molecular biology assays, including reagent formulation and optimization.Interfacing with customers to provide updates on sample status and progress, ensuring clear and timely communication. My role required meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to manage and execute complex projects successfully.
