Supervisor: A/Professor Judy HopeProject: Naturalistic study of privately admitted patients who experience suicidal ideation- Audited 66 medical records to examine modifiable factors related to well-being and suicidality outcomes of patients with suicide ideation admitted to a private hospital- Conducted a literature review about suicide prevention in hospital settings

Project: Southeast Asian Mental Health Initiative- Outlined and translated a toolkit of mental health advocacy (based on Orygen, WHO, and United for Global Mental Health’s toolkits) to be adapted and localized in Vietnam- Reviewed and adapted parts of ethics application form to be submitted to Vietnamese Institutional Review Boards- Designed and managed the conference’s website using WordPress (Cornerstone, Gravity form, Google Analytics), attained 5174 views per month- Managed conference email and responded promptly to inquiries from attendants and partners across the world- Coordinated Vietnamese team to advertise the conference (researched key mental health resources and organizations, brainstormed advertising strategies, produced social media articles and the conference’s pitch deck)- Managed the conference’s Youtube channel (uploaded videos, subtitled in local language)

Project: Impact of heavy metals pollution in Citarum river on children's cognitive developmentSupervisor: Dr. Kirsten McLean- Participated in the research program of Monash University selectively for students achieving Distinction and High Distinction in 2nd and 3rd year;- Coordinated a team of three to produce an interdisciplinary research proposal;- Conducted an intensive literature review and assisted in designing methods;- Presented at the conference which was broadcasted to 12+ universities worldwide.

Project: Experiences of people with mental health illness in Vietnam mental health care system (EMHS)- Contacted and conducted screening questionnaires via email to 200+ people;- Assisted in conducting in-depth interviews: taking notes, conducting substitute interviews if needed;- Managed project-related emails, media publications, budget, and reports;- Assisted in organizing a seminar with roughly 100 attendees: venue set-up, event promotion, and event reception.
