I am a researcher and a problem solver by instinct. My passion is finding answers/solutions to the most complex and challenging questions/problems. I have honed my research skills through my time in academia. Nevertheless my enthusiasm for research is not restricted to inside the walls of the university, I prefer to utilize my research skills in real life just as much, if not more.Bringing technology to life is my goal. I am intent on merging academia with industry out of the belief that the efficiency gains that technology could provide to industry have the potential to transform business models, business processes, and even whole industries.In addition to being a researcher I am also an engineer, I appreciate the process as much as I appreciate the end product. This is what actually drew me to the logistics industry. The potential for optimization through the introduction of technology to the logistics industry seemed to me like a challenging and potentially rewarding opportunity. Innovating new methods in which to streamline the disparate parts and processes involved in logistics seemed like a big enough challenge!In 2018 I co-founded Logestechs, a logistics management software targeting traditional delivery companies and aiming to transform their traditional operations to automated ones. I am the current CEO for the startup, and as a long-term thinker I realize that I am not building a house, I am rather putting down the building blocks to build a skyscraper.Skilled in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, and Optimization. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Computer Science from National University of Malaysia.
