I have been intrigued by the inner workings of computers and software programs since I was a child. After getting my first taste at coding, I was hooked on development, and I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my career. Being the self-motivated, overachiever I am, I jump at every opportunity I have to further develop my skill set. I have worked with very reputable companies throughout my career, and I was lucky enough to work with and learn from a handful of experts in the field of software development.I am proud to say that my skills were greatly appreciated in the companies where I have worked and by my past and current colleagues. Some of the adjectives that were used by my colleagues to describe me were: dedicated, committed, a valuable asset, professional, hard worker, helpful, likeable, a great team player and an amazing programmer. My work has been described as being thorough down to the last detail, my colleagues have described my work as pleasurable to QA. I have been described as a gifted researcher and practitioner in the software engineering field. (see recommendations below) I now work as a senior software engineer at one of Palestine’s fastest growing startups, LogesTechs, where I manage and mentor an amazing team of 7 developers. In addition to writing code I am also a researcher. Research contributes towards fulfilling my passion for learning new technologies and new ways of doing things. I let my research career feed back into my engineering career. Where the former helps me stay at the cutting edge of science, keeping me innovative, and it provides me access to expertise that help improve the software programs I work on, as well as access to resources that just wouldn't be shared in industry.I am always eager to meet other software engineers in the area, so feel free to connect!
