The tasks include reviewing sprint backlogs, sprint planning, story… Show more • Responsible for managing Oracle Fusion Project Resource Management development team.• Responsible for planning, scheduling, design, development, troubleshoot and debug Fusion PJR module development activities including customer bugs.• Coordinate and manage scrum teams of sizes 10+ including remote members and successfully delivering high quality software adhering to sprint deadlines and continuous delivery model. The tasks include reviewing sprint backlogs, sprint planning, story pointing including backlog assignment, daily scrums, retrospectives and QA hand-off demos. • Involve and participate in the design discussion with product management, QA and other cross-functional teams.• Initiate, propose and outline high level solution architecture for the new enhancements, complex bug fixes and product backlogs.• Emphasize and follow test driven development approach and achieve high quality by conducting thorough code reviews (peer code reviews) and ensuring 100% test automation coverage is met. • Conduct code reviews for performance improvement and reach out to central performance team(PSR) for complex tuning solutions.• Prioritize, assess, schedule, swap team’s tasks based on the factors such as divisional mandates, phase gate issues and other priority bugs.• Help remove any blockers for individuals or for the team by extending hands-on support or reaching out to the right point of contact.• Track progress on each backlog and measure quality, identify and escalate any risks and known issues.• Hire and mentor new software engineers to fill in the head-count. • Manage and appraise team’s performance by conducting regular 1-on-1’s and appraisal meetings.• Attend various program management meetings and appraise the team on priorities and release schedules in team meeting.• Drive and execute central initiatives across teams.
