I am one of two designers that are part of the communications team within the 2gether Trust. The Trust spans over 2 counties and employs over 2000 people and because of its size, I get the opportunity to work on a wide range of print, web and video based projects. I have produced vast amounts of printed literature including:• Logo design• Branding• Books• Leaflets• Infographics• 200 page Annual Reports• Large bus signage• PostersI assist in the editing/development and creation of the Trust websites along with creating static and motion graphics for the web and social media. I direct, capture, edit and export video and for multiple uses associated with the trust. I have a keen interest in photography and I am lucky enough to be the in house photographer which sees me documenting important media events and gathering images for web and printed literature. The design team is relatively small so responsibilities are that much greater and as a result I have multiple projects active at any one time.

When I arrived back in the Uk after travelling in 2013, I had a driving desire to succeed as a designer but I didn’t want to wait for employment so I set up my own design company. As a result, I get to work on a multitude of interesting projects involving branding, print, marketing, web, multimedia, photography and video. Because I use a wide range of equipment and software, I spend a great deal of time developing my skills by accessing online tutorials, social media groups and trial and error. It is very important to stay at the cutting edge.I have to be more than a designer as I am accountable for marketing my company and attracting work through cold contacting, social media promotion and group networking. Mix control and quality control technician. Responsible for the continuous mix supply to 12 ice cream units on the factory floor. Each unit had a specific liquid mix type that had to fit very tight parameters including hygiene and quality control. Other responsibilities included maintenance of the mix plant by competing weekly product maintenance sheets (PMs) and development/improvement sessions.
