This role prepared me to become the leader that I am today. I learned to listen, understand, and empathize. But most of all, I learned that it’s all about the people, not the products. This role also taught me to think like an entrepreneur. As a Sales and Operations manager, I personally oversaw operations, sales, P&L, and as many as 40 employees across two branches. One of my proudest accomplishments in this role was successfully launching and growing a new truck division and overseeing a fleet of 300+ vehicles in short term rental.
