Makayla Johnson is a sophomore Biomedical Engineering student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and from the greater Twin Cities area. Her interests are in the fields of biomaterials and medical devices. She is searching for opportunities to build her background and skillset through research programs and industry internships.On campus, she serves as the Coordinator for the STEM Outreach Committee under the Noblitt Scholars Program. This committee focuses on developing stem-related interest in primary and secondary students in the surrounding Indiana communities. Additionally, she is the Secretary of the National Society of Black Engineers at Rose-Hulman and a member of the freshmen orientation team.
