As part of Omdia’s memory and storage team, Makoto is responsible for providing research, analysis, and forecasting of DRAM and NAND memory for mobile and embedded applications, as well as providing coverage of the NOR flash market. Makoto’s main research focus is on memory in smartphones. Additionally, Makoto monitors and reports on raw silicon manufacturers and global supply trends and threats.

Makoto held project manager roles on the Forecasting and Data Analysis team for the past 2+ years. Successfully led/managed/built/launched multiple products including smartphone, mobile PC (notebook & tablet), and desktop monitor’s model.

Makoto held data manager roles on the Forecasting and Data Analysis team for the past 4+ years. Responsible for over 35 reports with a focus on display while ensuring on-time delivery. Successfully built/launched/organized/maintained and report on industry dynamics and market data. Standardized and optimized processes, identifying and implementing quality standards, and helped to drive the migration of existing data environments to more robust data platforms and tools.
