I am working on studying the contribution of sex hormones and chromosomes into the sex differences in lung cancer initiation and progression using the "Four Core Genotypes" mouse model.

Worked in the Prof. Ron A . Hites laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Amina Salamova.Performing analysis on human blood and water samples for presence of PFAS (per-fluorinated and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances) as part of my thesis research. Gaining hands-on experience in working with analytical instrumentation such as GC-MS and LC-MS.

Currently working on a project of creating an interactive map of waste & recycling service vendors in US.

After being promoted to the Field Engineer position, I had an opportunity to work in various projects with clients such as: Maersk Oil (North Sea, Denmark), Qatar Gas (Persian Gulf, Qatar), Dragon Oil (Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan), Petronas (Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan)My responsibilities included: * Collecting well data during the well-testing operations and generating reports for the client. * Performing compositional and PVT analysis on petroleum and natural gas samples (C36+ GC analysis).* Analyzing hydrogen sulfide content in natural gas samples (ASTM UOP 212 Method).* Analyzing ion content in formation water samples using spectrophotometric analysis.* Collecting surface and single-phase downhole petroleum/natural gas samples.* Analyzing Mercury content in natural gas using "Sir Galahad" PSA Analytical atomic fluorescence spectrometer.* Working with radiation (Ba-133 isotope) as part of the Multiphase Flow Metering (Vx technology).

As part of the multitasking strategy within the company I was assigned as an Engineer in Charge. My responsibilities included:• Planning and management of field personnel.• Monitoring segment logistics operations by coordinating with logistics department.• Tracking the segment inventory and working with procurement department.• Working in team during project preparation in collaboration with sales department.• Meeting with clients, presenting/explaining technical aspects of the projects and offered service.• Training newly-hired engineers as part of their fixed training program.

After passing the 4 months of probation period, I was sent to Surface Measurements School 1. This specialized training within the company took place in the Schlumberger European Learning Center (Paris, France). After successfully obtaining the well-testing certificate I had a chance to work in Kenya in a Turcana county in petroleum exploration project.
