Senior Frontend Engineer
CurrentDuring my time at Miro, I’ve worked in 2 teams across different domain areas:User management team:- Implemented the User Groups feature, allowing access to be granted to a group of users instead of individual manual assignments. This includes group management, SCIM provisioning, managing access to content, and mentioning groups on boards. It was one of the most requested features by Enterprise customers.- Migrated the large user list to OpenSearch with optimistic updates, significantly reducing infrastructure costs.- Transitioned data tables from React Window to TanStack Table, simplifying sorting, filtering, and pagination implementation. This also enabled the redesign of sticky headers, improving data readability.Content access management team:- Redesigned the board-sharing feature, a critical component for the acquisition metric. Collaborated - with product managers and designers in a design sprint to provide a better solution, experimenting and analyzing metrics for different versions.- Conducted A/B tests for user mentions on boards, aimed at increasing user engagement.- Redesigned the Miro dashboard, adding board thumbnails to improve navigation and make it easier to find relevant boards.- Implemented the Co-owner board role, including settings and end-to-end user experience. This feature solved the problem of access management for board owners.Overall experience:- Supported product accessibility (A11y) and localization.- Performed A/B testing and gradual feature rollouts using SplitIO and in-house solution.- Hired engineers at all levels through live coding, system design, and behavior interviews. Successfully set up a new team in Berlin, including onboarding three frontend engineers.- Participated in on-call duties, handling monitoring (Sentry, Grafana) and incident management (OpsGenie, incident.io).
