Hi guys.I trained as an engineer in Birmingham.Moved into most of the fundemental aspects of construction.And naturally onto property development.Was mortgage free until the point at which we had children.😁I am retired but would consider some Consulting work in property investment and management.Stress,this would be on a fairly limited basis.Successfully developed 5 or 6 properties, mainly single-handed, without loss.I have pretty much put down my tools now but would not be a adverse too small jobs.Mainly interested in the sourcing of properties on an ad hoc basis.I have lived in the property hotspot that is Folkestone for about 17 years.TBH this was a marvellous opportunity about 10 years ago.Some families like my mate John's solve a flat in London at that point came down here bought two houses and left a deposit on a flat for the same money as they had sold in the capital.Why not? You can get into London in an hour from here, which is probably quicker than from the London suburbs!Covid and the fact that many now have family and friends here, has encouraged the DFL's to start snapping up houses and flats down here, as soon as they hit the market.I'm not going to say time is running short down here to buy but... I really don't know of anywhere else you can make a quick profit?I wouldn't be interested in the system of big corporation but maybe a small,one or two man Enterprise.This is the first time I've really used LinkedIn, so please be patient with any replies needed.ATBMAL.
