Had a great time with some great people at Cress Systems Renewable Energy as a Mechanical Engineering Tech. Developing Energy Storage System for use on mobile cranes used within the Port industries. Working at Frutarom UK Ltd at Hartlepool as an Engineering Technician projects developing and improving LEV systemHad a good time at Selwood Pumps as a Pump Technician. Previous experience at SSI Redcar as an mechanical craftsman, also employed as a Mechanical Technician offshore with Apache North Sea prior to this I was Pump Fitter underground at Cleveland Potash Limited at Boulby Mine. My duties included the continuous operation and maintenance of all pumps and equipment located within the mine underground. This includes the removal of nuisance brine water and supplying fresh water to all heavy mining equipment. Before moving to the pump lodge I worked with the Maintenance Crew working on the underground heavy mining equipment.Previous to this employment I worked at Trinity Mirror Publishing Group Teesside as an Engineering Technician providing, IT, electrical and mechanical support for a wide range of equipment. I also served 12 years with the Royal Air Force as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. In particular, I have had experience in the servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis of all plant equipment within the Royal Air Force. I am familiar with standards and procedures, having worked to ISO 9001 and quality control, and am computer literate. I have also had 7 years experience as a Fabricator working on various equipment on chemical plants at the ICI Wilton Complex.
