Sr. Coordinator Of Aquatics
CurrentActed as the Aquatics Director to help lead the department back to a fully staffed and optimized environment before Covid-19. Manage and implement all Aquatics day to day programming to ensure quality delivery of programs meeting the needs of the branch and community.□ Execute the employee hiring process to include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, developing and supervising new employees.□ Employee Management: develop a high performing Aquatics team to deliver quality programming, manage and assess team of 30 staff members, create schedule of 80 staff shifts per week, approve bi-weekly payroll, draft agenda and conduct monthly in-service meetings, track staff certifications, solve staff issues including conflict resolutions, discipline and potential termination, and purchase supplies for Aquatics Department.□ Participate on the Leadership team to help assess how to improve overall patron experiences and success of branch operations.□ Take part on Safety Committee to ensure 100% compliance with the YUSA Aquatics Safety Plan. Also purchase and stock safety supplies for the branch.□ Cultivate a high level of customer service which enhances the member, program participant and guest experience by providing a positive experience and a high level of satisfaction.□ Assist in drafting and submitting grant proposal.□ Generate quarterly swim lesson program; partner with the Y USA to publish schedule online.□ Coordinate with childcare to teach swim lessons to kids ages 3-12.
