After a degree in Environmental Science my career started in the oilfield service sector running drilling services projects across the globe. In that role I set up and ran businesses in Nigeria and latterly Brazil. Returning to the UK in 2006 I completed an MSc in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot Watt before starting work with Wood Mackenzie. At Woodmac I have worked with a wide range of international clients, including, majors, NOCs, IOCs, investors, industry bodies, infrastructure and OFS companies. My work has followed the trajectory of the industry with growth focused advisory evolving into energy transition related themes in the last five years. Consistent themes have included strategy development, due diligence and market analysis. I recently directed a key report on the North Sea's energy transition for the Net Zero Technology Centre – Closing the Gap: Technology for a Net Zero North Sea. https://www.netzerotc.com/reports-publications/closing-the-gap/ .
