Joined John Laing in 1978, with the company since then. Became Sales Director in late 90's and MD in 2002/3. When our independent parent company pulled out financially in January 2006, Dawson International stepped in and bought the business, dove-tailing it into their Barrie Knitwear operation. In 2012 Barrie business, and with it the John Laing brand, were bought by Chanel. Exciting times as we become Chanel's first acquisition outside of France. Onwards and upwards.......almost!
