Roles and Responsibilities: Providing technical support to the base and ongoing subsea projects, work includes; support of XTree in country building and testing, disposition of NCR’s, SRT’s of Subsea Trees and related equipment before shipment from the base to the offshore facility. Also heavily involved with the 5yr recertification of equipment program being undertaken at the base and designing various pieces of equipment for testing. I also provide technical support directly to the customer (TOTAL/ Exxon) with respect to procedures, designs, product functionality and problem solving. Achievements: Coordinated 28 Post FAT System Integration Tests (SIT) of Subsea Trees before shipment from the Plant. The role was to provide technical and hands on support to the SIT utilizing the SAP/R3 system, AutoCAD, Word, Excel for problem solving and act as the link between theCCL engineering/ project management team and the customer. The role of the coordinator is to ensure the SIT program is followed in the most practical cost and time effective way to meet the shipment deadlines for the Trees and other associated equipment. A very good knowledge of the equipment being tested is vital for this role, not only with respect to design but also safety in use. The work also involved ensuring that the team set up for the testing had a safe environment to work in and that all relevant HSE working practices were adhered to in the testing arena. Training undertaken: Overhead Crane, Mobile Crane Banks man and Cherry Picker/ FLT license. 6 Sigma Green Belt
